Holiday Lets

Three, four or more

Starting a family is a dream come true for many couples, and they welcome the changes that come with the new territory of family life. Often this includes rearranging the finances to provide for your new bundle of joy, but this need not mean you have to miss out on a much needed holiday. The burgeoning field of holiday lets offers a very cost effective way of giving everyone a change from routine. A family room in a hotel might not seem very peaceful when you are crammed into one small space, especially with different bedtimes for all. But when you find a beautiful apartment or cottage there is room for everyone – often at the same cost as that hotel you used to book as a couple.

Spend only a matter of minutes online and you can find a wealth of holiday homes on offer, providing as much space as you need. You may give up on room service, but what you gain is a beautiful property with privacy and freedom from your to-do list. You have only to relax with your family knowing that the property is cared for by someone else. No DIY jobs screaming for your attention, no big cleaning work. Maybe dad can play with the kids while mum has that long soak in the tub, or mum can treat the kids to some afternoon baking while dad has that nap he’s always wanted. And of course, mum and dad can curl up together to watch that movie they’ve been putting off, once the little ones are fast asleep.

This is all even before you step outside your apartment to explore your new neighbourhood. It might be a stunning countryside location, with cliff walks and ice cream on the beach, or an exciting city bursting to be discovered. With endless activities available for children of all ages (including big ones…) you can plan days out around relaxing in your stress free home from home.

Whether remote or inner city, your holiday let property will provide a stable, spacious base for you and your family. The benefits of a change from routine are many and valuable. Rediscover your family in a new and relaxed setting, and why not make it a real event and invite the grandparents too???

A City on your Doorstep!

When you wake up in your own holiday apartment, knowing you have the whole day ahead of you to discover the riches London has to offer, you might jump out of bed, eager to get out to the Tower of London, to see where so much British History was made, or perhaps to brush against all your favourite stars at Madame Tussauds, but what if you had a late night seeing The Phantom of the Opera the night before and you want to luxuriate in bed longer, or take a long bath before a leisurely breakfast…?

All this and more is possible when you book a break in a holiday let apartment. There are no breakfast hours to stick to – your agenda is as packed or free as you wish!

You might wander out, take the tube to Kings Road in Fulham, for some designer shopping, then pop back for a nap and to rest your feet before gathering up a delicious picnic in your own kitchen, then heading out to the afternoon sun in Hyde Park. Then right next to you is the Albert Hall, with some of the best concerts being performed every night.

There are many of the world’s most famous restaurants to visit in London, and if you enjoy Afternoon Tea at the Ritz Hotel one afternoon, you may well want to save some money and your waistline the next day by preparing your own fresh food for lunch, before indulging in the delights of Chinatown in the evening.

Staying in your own apartment offers you this flexibility, and for some can make the financial difference between having a break or not. It also offers the chance of really experiencing being in London as if you are living there, without the constraints of a hotel.

The money saved by staying in a holiday apartment can make a simple holiday into a luxurious experience, as you can book into one of London’s famous day spas for relaxing treatments, or visit some of London’s most popular landmarks, including floating above the entire city in your own pod in the London Eye, complete with champagne.

For the budget conscious, London can also provide a rich stay without breaking the bank, with the wonderful British Museum, National Gallery and the Natural History Museum to name just a few must visit places. It is easy to see how the cost of a holiday can escalate with accommodation and constant eating out, and families in particular can benefit from staying in an apartment, enjoying privacy and great savings for their holiday.
